New England stonewall find

Once in while an old stone wall in the woods will yield a decent little keeper. 1807 half real. About 2 feet out from the wall 5 inches deep. CTX rang out loud and clear similar to a dime although this is smaller than a dime.

Thank you. That is my first Spanish silver. At first I didn't know what it was and was disappointed it was not early American silver, then realized it was a cool find and a nice addition to the collection. Also renewed my confidence hunting near stonewalls. In NE if you are running low on places to hunt there are plenty of old stonewalls in the woods where the old time wall builders could drop things.
