New F75 LTD arrived

Well got the replacement F75 today, KellyCo replaced the whole unit so I ran out to give it a try. The farm I tried it out has been pound to death, not many coins come up but I managed to pull a few. I was able to run with the SEN about 90 in A/M's now It definitely was totally different then the other there's so much trash near the house it was very hard to detect but I keyed in a few coins, well couldn't take the machine gun hit for very long so I figured let me go into the field which hasn't been plowed in ages. the A/M dropped down to a nice steady almost quite threshold at -2, didn't get any high number out there but I was mainly concerned with it's operation. I like how the +and - hot rock sound of, it makes them is to pass by and the reading is usually 99 with no confidence reading like the manual says a bong or zip, it was right there. Well it was getting late so I went back to the house area and switched to Disc. Mode was able to run Sen. about 90, Disc all the way to tabs and notched nickel BP mode this is with the 11 DD coil which I couldn't do with the other unit GB was about 63. She was noisy but again super trashy. She pulled a few nickels out and 1 clad dime, It was 7:00 by now so I started back to the car and got a real strong hit reading dime with full CONF. reading, P/Ped it and it showed 9". Figured another bummer but thought I could use one of those "BIRDBATHS" Roland got, well at 9" Garrett PP said it was in the pile It was a NEW JERSEY Colonial Copper, it's the second one I got but pretty corroded, I could ID cause it has a Shield on the back and and a horse head and plow on the front, used soap & water and a soft brush to clean it up a little the shield shows up. They only made them between 1786-1788, so that was a real good find for the fist time out. I got to figure out how to quite it down in super trashy areas for my ears sake. Drop the SEN should help.

Shooter, you just aren't going to let the baby birdbath die quickly, are you! LOL! I think you should collect a few more of those really nice coins and send them to me. I could put them around in the rim of the the tiny Mexican metal sombrero.....that would be real purty, doncha think?

Went out today to a real old and heavily trashed site, pull tabs whole beer can and a lot of ALUM. trash, has been a picnic site since the turn of the Century. Pulled Silver out of there with the 1270 and the 5" coil, well I pic up the 1270 5" coil instead of the F75 one. So tried to work it with the 11, Forget it machine gunned all over, the data changed so fast and the audio was so crazy, but thats how much trash is there, its workable with a 5". Another time. So I went to farm field I've been doing that I cleaned of trash pretty so its was a good place to check out some settings, and the machine ran smooth and clear, A/M , SEN all the way up ran fine, switch over to DISC, First Disc full to tabs and Notch nickels,SEN @ 90---Chattery but copper items came in clear, dropped the Sen down to about 70 Small pops here and there but detector was rock stable Second setting: Factory reset it, 3h tone, 90 Sen --Chattered a little, dropped SEN to 78 smooth sailing..... Only pick out 1 coin and was getting a few pops and chatters but 1947 Rosie at 4" was totally audible distinct among the chatter. No problems as of yet.

Try disc15 and 2F tones, no notch and see how it does in the field. Or if it is as clean as you say try disc=6 and tone=1 with no notch. You have to watch that first notch, I sometimes find it on when I didn't mean to have it on. If there is no iron in the field you may as well run disc=15 and one tone... or AM/BP.

I didn't realize the BOOST setting added so much chatter over the other processes because of the enhanced SEN.till I tried the default and the JE today also a slower swipe speed is used in the BOOST setting, totally forgot that to.
