New f75 vids

Tom dankowski site has new vids of the newest fisher f75ltd keith southern has them posted :)

The video is very informative. The change in the unit looks like a firmware upgrade to 9.0 and 9.1.
You can manually select the firmware you want to use. 9.1 has the FA mode (fast action)and it looks like it works fast and great for identifying multiple close targets and superior iron discrimination.
My F75 Ltd has ver. 7.1 for comparison
9.0 is the standard mode and that can be used if one wishes.
The way you switch versions is by shuting off the unit and turning it back on to rest to the default mode. Then turn the dial left for 9.1 or right for 9.0 as you hold down the red button and push the trigger forward.

The iron separation is so good on 9.1 I don't see why one would want to use 9.0 and chance missing a masked target.

I need this upgrade.....

I believe that the software version switch from 9.0 to 9.1 is where you turn on or turn off the DST. I believe that the FA mode is available in both the 9.0 and 9.1 modes. Hopefully I will know for sure early next week.

You may be correct. They showed the difference from DE, BP and FA (fast Audio) and it was impressive.

I use the F70 and im amazed every day of its capabilities .. It dont chatter any more than a mxt does and its just alot of fun.. I ordered the new F75LTD and after seeing the vids im really not wanting to wait any longer to have it in my hands lol my dealer said the new ones come with back packs and pouches im thinking he said dont matter as long as i get the 2 coils

Woo Hoo! I can't wait for details on un upgrade to make my F75 LTD new again. Looks like Fisher hit a home run with this new version. The F75 has always been a great machine but this will make it even better. Some of my back up machines can go online after I get the upgrade. Thanks, Fisher for staying after the problems and listening to your customers.

yeah hurry up and wait lol i called fisher a week ago and they said the upgrade info will be posted on there website at the end of the month so we still have no idea of what the cost will be also i read on another forum that they can also upgrade the standerd f75 to the se version so time will tell hh

Did I understand it correctly that this new machine has adjustable iron audio? If it still has the depth of the old model, I'd think the fast-response FA mode, plus adjustable iron audio, plus enhanced emi handling would make it a total killer in suburban trash and iron.

I may have to save up and get one of these.

No complaints from me. I am super impressed that FIsher is even talking about the upgrades for our older machines. I didn't want to turn my Camo F75 loose and now I won't have to. I am making the prediction that the fee they charge will be well worth the cost. I have learned to hear through all of the EMI noise but have still found a few places where I couldn't hunt at all. This upgrade will make the F75 so much easier to enjoy and use. Hoping for a Christmas present from Fisher.
