Good day to all.

My Daughter and I are new to treasure hunting, we recently purchased a Bounty Hunter and are eager to start hunting. We are not into the beach scene, rather find history or gold in the ground. Truth be told it is a great way to spend time with my daughter. We are in Belleville Ontario, Canada. Any sites, tips, or anything at all would be greatly appreciated.

Schools, Parks, Tot Lots, Old Homes sights, soccer fields, Baseball fields, Volley Ball Courts.....are all good areas to detect.

Please hone your digging skills so as not to leave any damaged grounds. Fill your holes after digging. Check all parks for allowance of metal detecting. Never tresspass on private property to detect.

It is best to not use a shovel in Parks... Could get you thrown out in a hurry. Small hand digging tools, or probes are best.

Good Luck ..............and enjoy your new Hobby with your daughter..
