New personal best in Wheaties.

So, for the past few weeks I have been dirt surfing a curb line in my home town. I have covered maybe 80-100 feet of this strip over 4 outings.

Today in a section no bigger than 5' x 15' I pulled 26 Wheats (13 from one hole!), 12 Lincolns, 2 Jefferson nickles, 1 clad dime, one iron buckle, 1920's-30's Princess Pat Rouge tin, small copper hat pin, small copper hair pin, and at least 50 nails ranging from 1"- 5".

This curb strip now has gave up probably $6 in clad, 38 Wheats, a '46 Rosie, and a perfect '42 Merc. Oh, and LOTs of nails, I mean LOTs of them!

All of this has been fished out with my CTX 6" coil. My plan is to clean out as much as I can with the 6" coil and then go back over the entire area slowly with the stock coil hoping for some deeper silver!

Nice!

Hahaha I always get a kick out the "Weed Whacker" reference in your signature.

I like to give my toys some character, and silly names seem to work.
