Very nice finds McNickle.

I was out yesterday and found a gold ring, a silver ring, a diamond / sterling pierced earing and about 13 bucks in clad ( I hit a coin drop are that was filled with over 4o clad quarters ) along with two 1946 rosies and a silver war nickle at an old school football / baseball field. I was out for only about 3 hours and the E-trac was singing like it was on fire. I don't think anyone ever detected this area before. I don't even get excited about the wheaties any more. I seem to find them regularly and to me I only get excited when I find the first few years. I'm still looking for the 1909 S-VBD.....sooner or later I will find one in the ground in un-circulated condition. YEAH RIGHT LOL)
And nothing like digging and seeing that bright silver in the dirt. It is almost like the day they were dropped.

I am impressed with the E-trac to the point of probably getting rid of the the F-75. I like it that much.

Great job Steve, I can't wait until my semester is over so I can get out. I was on sabbatical last year and had more time.

Best regards & HH

Outstanding finds, McNickle!!! I'm still getting acquainted with my new E-trac. I haven't found any silver yet. But posts like this give me hope!
