i just got a quattro for fields and woods for relic hunting what is the the best program and do you use auto or manual for senstivity any other tips would be helpful thanks hal

My quattro is my first detector purchased 2 years ago. I played with it and built frustration to the point of parking it in the closet.
Please share what you learn. I've got my second wind and want to get back out in the field with a new attitude. Thanks
Nelson

I'm more of relic hunter myself. For woods and fields, I usually run the safari in auto sensitivity; low density (less trash/ but a slightly longer reset of tdi due to different algorthim - but a more accurate tdi than high density) relic or all metal mode depending on amount of targets under the coil and always with a slow coil sweep. Suggest read through this forum as many of us have posed the same questions when we were newbies, too.
