Also, how would you compare the depth to the newer stock 10" coil? I want to compare the weight to my beatup S-12 coil, in case it quits in the near future (one look at it and you would swear that it is dead already). I have used mostly my S-8 and I really like it, but, maybe, I will want more depth this winter because the beaches are pretty sanded in. Thanks!

SEF coils are made in Bulgaria. Go to Kellyco's website pull up coils go down until you see the first SEF and it tells you at the top of that page. HH :minelab:
