Ok got out with my safari again for a couple more hours of practice. Again I got skunked when it comes to finding treasure. But I did find something that kind of Creeped me out. I was checking out around an large tree at the park. I got a strong repeatable signal that I could tell was a shallow target. So after pinpointing I got my Garrett Pro pointer out and
Got a strong signal right on the dirt. Got my digger out and loosened the top inch and used the pointer. I spotted Roundness and picked it up thinking I had a coin. Well turned out to be some kind of round tag. Dropped it in my pouch and decided to wait till I got home to check it out.
Well when I got home pulled out the round tag cleaned it up and went for a read. - guess what it was a Crematory Tag. Thinking back I remember that the dirt around where the tag was buried had what looked like ash. I remember thinking someone had dumped there grill ashes - now I am thinking it may have been someone's loved one.
