Got to get out today for a little with it. Found 13 coins all clad but hay it still counts! love it so far. Pinpointing is a breeze with it. Think i did good. Thanks for all the post an info on here to get me ready for this one. HH

Hi Ricstone, Congrats on the new purchase. I got mine last March and have really enjoyed it. It was my first one so I don't have anything to compare it to. Set up a test garden and listen hard to the sounds. Look forward to post of your future finds. Remember to post pix with numbers and depths so we all can learn together.
HH,
Bunker

Ricstone, welcome and may your finds be many. I don't have a test garden as I live in a condo, so I always bring a sampling of coins (usually worn silver coins, clad, pull tops, beaver tails) that I expect to find in the field. I'm sure most everyone here will suggest learning the different sounds that each sample makes, coupled with the graph id (as opposed to replying on the icons).

Didn't have the 30 had a 305 an yes had the 10in DD mf coil but traded it away. Had 6x9 hf an stock coil when i treaded it in to Richard. HH

Hello @all,

I got my Safari some 5 months ago. Now its winter and the soil in rocksollid. To bad. I allready did some great finds with it. The oldest coin that came out of the clay dates from 1617 AD! Most finds are from that period. A knife handle is one of the items as well... Sorry about any spellingerrors. I'm from Groningen in The Netherlands. Pictures will follow soon...

Greetz!

I got one for Xmas and also a lot of snow. I can't wait to try it out in earnest. I started last year with an Ace 250 and found enough to pay for it. I'm hoping to find better things with the Safari, plus hitting the beaches also, I do 85% detecting on land.
