After buying my Etrac about a month ago, I have started to get some confidence in what the machine is telling me.
Two weekends ago I found a small gold ring and this past Saturday I found my first silver.
Tonight after getting home to clean my clad that I found over the weekend, I noticed one was a wheat so I thought after cleaning the front so could
get the year off of it turned out to be my first Indian head. Funny thing is I don't know where I picked it up from, one of the ten locations i stopped at

Great finds!! Congratulations and good luck with your new Etrac. Kinda funny you don't know where you found the IH........that kinda thing would drive me nuts:confused:

Welcome!! Those are nice first finds, especially the gold ring. Try to remember where the Indian Head came from....there has to be some older silver in the same location.

I feel like a little kid when I hit a site and old copper starts showing up....Silver is there somewhere and I will usually stay until I find some. I HATE getting skunked.:sadwalk:

Congratulations on the finds. Welcome aboard. IH's usually (for me) hit at 36 Co. If you can remember hearing that lower (than wheat/memorial) sound, that'd be a good place to revisit for sure. Thanks for the pictures.
