Oh my gosh, this is just fantastic!! My first find is a clump of wire from an old parking lot. I treasure it as it is my very first find. So many new adventures ahead looking for treasures.
 
If this is how you react over a clump of wire, all I can say is your really gonna love this hobby. Congrats, it only gets better.------HH:clapping:

Let us know what type of detector you are using. There are dozens of people on this site that will help you to learn it better so you can get more good stuff.

I'm new to the hobby as well. I am literally the same way. lol Anything find, I have no problem, and am even happy. Just thinking about the history and what metal detecting has in store for me in the future is the source of my addiction. HH!
 
Wonderful post! We here understand the excitement you felt on that target! Great sport this...stay at it, its a big world and coils are small, so theres plenty of metal out there waiting for you!
