Newbie and Exp II finds some old silvers

Hello all, I thought you may like to see some finds from a 4-hour hunt at an old ballfield. I have hunted this site beginning May of this year, using a DFX. I found a couple Mercs and a few wheats after a half-dozen hunts. In Sept I obtained an Explorer II and found an additional 30-40 wheats, v-nickels, indians, more Mercs and roosies.
Over Thanksgiving I hunted a small area 50'X100'. Inch or two of snow on the ground but very easy digging in black topsoil. Most finds averaged about 5" deep. Here is what i found in 2 short hunts.
1916 merc
47 rosie
07 v nickel
05 indian
more wheats
1871 Canadian 25 cent
1892 Barber 25 cent
1916 Canadian Large cent

Thanks for looking

Love seeing them Old Quarters being found. No D Mintmark on that Merc huh? Looks like the soil is very good to the Coins where you are. Where are you located? Great finds and hope that Ball Diamond keeps producing. Continued Success, Good Luck and HH to you.

Thanks. No D mintmark on the Merc. I'm in southern Michigan. Others have found some nice Indians here, yet most of mine have a bit of corrosion due to chemical fertilizers used. I did get a very nice 1864 Indian, cleaned up well.

A nice collection of finds that would do any MD proud. Thanks for posting the pics.
