I have a really clean Sov XS-2 with 8" solid white CoinSearch coil and DetectorPro Bushmaster headphones for sale. I hate to let her go but winter bills force me to sell and I can't dig around here anyway for the next three months or so. It has been modified in the following ways: 1) I converted the original black S rod from a three piece to a more solid feeling two piece. 2) I added an aluminum extension (about 6") off of the back of the rod to help balance the control box out better 3) I added a remote all-metal push on/push off switch button on top of the S rod for thumb activation (an awesome feature for those who like to do a lot of reverse disc hunting in all-metal). It has the hard-to-find alkaline battery adapter and holders and the original nicad pack with a non-original but correct spec wall charger. That pack only holds a charge for 2-3 hours however. I have been using and modifiying old school Sovs for 20 years now and this is one of the hottest I've owned. In my opinion, these older Sovs are just as deep as the newer versions so I don't see the need to pay more for a GT for instance when you can get identical performance for half that price. I traded for the Sov with Bill Quinn in CA and the phones from Rick ND and both can vouch for me that these items are in great condition as I kept them as nice as I received them over the Spring.
