I had to laugh when I saw the name on it-ahh for simpler times. Not only are toy guns a no no just the name of it would get you suspended I'd wager.
 
That would be dick as in dick Tracy, popular Sunday comics character of the times.
I grew up with this and many other toy cap guns, readily available to purchase and play with. Don't recall them causing anybody to go postal, shoot up chucky cheese or any of the other things they get blamed for today!!
Can anybody say Mattel fanner 50?

Isn't "dick" also an old-timey word for a detective or P.I.?

I use to have the exact cap gun as a child. The handle slides to the side where you put the caps in. It was nice for the memories.. Thanks
