Nice old Button Today

Those of you that know me know I just love a good old Button.Even more then crusty LCs I got one of each today at a new cellar hole that I got permission to hunt this week.The Button is very ornate for a Colonial and still has some color left and a full shank. The Large cent is rough but is very early my guess is 1800-02 and the lock is just a cool old relic.Thanks for looking.
 
Way cool button Todd. Looks like you have some more digging to do at that spot. You will have to get out for a hunt in my neck of the woods soon. Be prepared for some crawling around for the woods are thickening up here. I know we are all certifyably insane:crazy:
