I got nice surprise while spending this rainy afternoon cleaning up the remaining "crusty" wheat from my July 11th hunt.

Nice old Wheat Cent !
 
It was very curdy with the hard green oxidation on it. It soaked in olive since the 11th of July and then I put it into a bath of washing soda yesterday. Was I ever surprised to see how it came out AND that it was an S mint mark too!
 
dang that coin came out great! whats washing soda?
 
It's a laundry detergent additive.
