I spent a few hours back at the elementary school where Dave and I both found seated dimes last week..
Found 1942 1944 1938 1917 mercury dimes a 1943 Washington had a rusted nail stuck to it! But the Nox helped on that find Two Indians 1902 1893 a older button piece of a D buckle a medallion with a runner on it and a copper token with 273 on it holed ..
All in all not a bad weekend ground is hard in a few shaded areas but if I can dig I will!

Nice hunt Mark!!

Mark, a very productive saving history hunt, there. Have you been toggling between multi to 4khz for more noticeable, flutey tones?
I think it makes a difference and I'm using it more. Going low and slow as Calabash wrote over last summer.

Yes I do once in awhile I tend to dig very sketchy signals and from different angles it definitely helps in hammered spots.
The silver Washington I just dug had a rusted nail stuck to it horrible signal but one way it was ok..
