I took a trip out to a few places last night. I left home at around 11:00pm and headed north. I was just out doing some scouting around looking for new places to hunt before winter sets in and sites that might be good to hit once winter is over.
Well, the two places that I hit looked good. I spent an hour at the first place just doing some scans / surface hunt, came away with a little clad.
I moved on to the the second place and did the same thing there. I started off in the tot lot that I spotted and scanned the woodchips to see what was there, got a few coins here and there and then I got this loud hit, came in at FE11 CO15 on the E-Trac right under the slide / climbing frame. I got the ProPointer out to aid in finding the object, it sure was a nice sight to see with the light that was being emitted from the pinpointer, that gold colour glint. The wedding band is 10K and weighs 2.2 grams. It's been awhile since I found any gold. Again, the E-Trac has shown that it can be used in a tot lot covered with woodchips to find the goods.
Also pulled $3.60 in surface finds.
