No gold but a nice little silver ring from the park today

Goldstrike

Well-known member
A bunch of deep clad quarters and assorted other coins, one bangle (not silver) and the silver ring is what I detected in a 2 hour hunt from a local park today. It's always a really good day when I can get a silver ring and a GREAT day when I can get a gold ring!!:clapping: G.L.&H.H. everyone!

You are killing the rings!!! WTG..:clapping:

Thanks very much for the encouragement Bunker!...You've had some great finds too and I hope and wish you much success in your future searches too!! There are still crazy amounts of goodies for all so keep swinging!!

Thanks K.! I'm always amazed at how many rings are still out there to find! and of course, hunting the beaches raises the chances of finding rings really high because all the environmental determinates are there. Hot bodies with suntan lotion slathered all over getting into cool ocean water which shrinks the skin and bingo, the rings slide off and embed in the sand until someone with a detector comes along!
Volleyball is a really popular game to play on the beaches and when the players slam that volleyball, the rings fly off those sweaty fingers and they get buried in the sand. So I'm lucky to live within 45minutes to 1 hour driving time to the beaches and that's where virtually all (except a very few from the local parks) of my rings come from. GL&HH!
