I am trying to set up user profiles. I understand that I can set up 4 user profiles for each category of search .. so in theory .... 4 user profiles in "field mode", 4 user profiles in "park mode", 4 user profiles in "beach mode", and 4 user profiles in "gold". The problem is after I set up a user profile in number user profile 4 in the "field mode" (no problem). When I switch to "Park Mode" my user 4 setting are gone. If I go back to "Field mode" the setting are there. How do I set up separate user profile 4 in "park."... no matter what I do the original setting (#4 in the field mode)....gets deleted. Are there step-by-step instructions to properly set up a different "number four" user profile in each of the modes? I am definitely missing something here

You need to put in the settings you want for each mode, Park, Field, Beach & Goldfield for each User Profile. You should also highlight the Save checkbox for each User Profile.
One thing that a lot of people do not realize is that you can have different tone breaks, tone volumes, tone pitch for each number of tones(2,4,6,60&P) That is a lot of saved settings ready to use. No other detector comes close to the Legends configurability.

No, I can't really do that for you. The best way is to re read the User manual & figure it out for yourself so you understand it for yourself. The Legend always retains the last settings you put in automatically Make sure the User Profile screen has the man's little box check marked..

Sorry for the slow response. Turned out that is was a lack of resetting the machine after the update. After the reset, everything worked as expected. It was not just a reset though...I had to reset it prior to the update and then again after. Not a big deal but a little quirky. Never would have done that if it was not mentioned here...Thanks!
