I found that same cowboy on horseback last year, but mine didn't have a base attached to it. Always wondered exactly what it was off of.

I was disapointed the cowboy was missing his head, was my first lead toy though.

I never even gave it any thought as to being a toy. When I found mine and was looking it over, I could tell that there was some sort of base or something at the bottom that was missing, but it never dawned on me.

Now I can say that was my first toy find.
