Not A Everyday Find

I have had my E-Trac for over a year now, and have had to ask many questions of you folks and have fallowed the threads and learned quite a bit.

To date I have found many silver and copper finds but have not posted any as I didn't feel any were all that great, but today my wife and I were hunting a old golf course that was closed a few years back and now is owned by the city. I received a FE 02 CO 47-50 reading at 6" and thought I had a silver half ( Had it been it would have been my first with the E-Trac). When I brought it to the surface I got a surprise as it turned out to be a Sterling Silver box. I put it in my pouch and continued to hunt. When we returned to the car at the end of the day I opened the silver box and got another surprise. It held a small child's Sterling Silver Rosary. I have never found anything like this before and thought I would share it with you. I hope you enjoy. Rick IL.

Very nice! A little something to pass along.

Thanks for all the nice comments. I have over the years found just about every other thing you can think of, but never anything like this.

A few years back I had a bag of coins and tokens I had found over the years stolen from me and it kind of put a damper on my wanting to hunt as I felt I would never be able to replace those items, finding this kind of made up for a little of my loss. I am not Catholic, but I will cherish this find and it will find a special place in my finds box . Rick IL.

That's one of those finds that makes me wish it could tell its story.
