Not letting the 705 get lonely

Thought I would take the 705 out today and let the ETrac set one out, mostly I was wanting to spend a little more time with running it in 1 mode opened all the way up and where I was going is brushy and lots of vines and the Digger coil works good in that stuff. I was there the other day and my buddy got an Infantry Button and I got skunked with the ETrac, today I kept getting trash till near the end and got a good signal and what popped out ... a 69 Cal Minnie Ball, my first 69 ... that thing is as big as my thumb ... Great Machine and Coil and will always be part of my arsenal

 That's how to work it!
Sometimes that one find makes the hunt.

Nice work!

I'm starting to think that you didn't give the 705 a good enough chance before buying the eTrac.

Nice find! Deciding between taking an E-Trac and X-Terra out of the gagrage is a good problem to have!

Post a pic of the mini-ball if you get the chance, it would be cool to see it!

Nice find, i wish i was in Relic country, hard to find in California, even silver and old coins are hard to come by, did find a 1923 Merc about a week ago. I think i will have more luck with the X i have been pulling clad dimes out at 8 to 10" so hopefully the silver is down there deep.

what my thumb ... yeah got the tip of it with a chopsaw about 10 years ago
