Howdy,
With the cooler fall weather here, I wanted to check a couple places in a wooded setting (no bugs, and the underbrush is mostly gone). Had a little bit of luck and found some age, but not in the metal I was hoping for... Got a couple newer Wheats too (not shown). I was happy to find what I did, as it was a challenging hunt with lots of iron under the fallen leaf cover. Coil swinging wasn't so easy either. And I found a number of shotgun shells too.
Indian is an 1883; Wheat is a 1911-D (glad to see a mintmark on it). The '41-D Merc is pretty sharp - has full split bands. The dirt just nulled after I recovered that one - it was in with the iron.
