NOX 800 headphones won’t turn on

Charged the detector and headphones prior to an out-of-town trip. Went to use them this morning and the headphones would not turn on. Anyone else have this experience?

If my foggy memory is correct, the headphones do not automatically turn themselves off.
Don't bet money on it, but I seem to remember leaving them on a few times when I first got the detector, and ended up draining them dead.
YMMV

Dave,
I am not sure if you have the same problem as what I had but I'm going to throw this out there.... When you plug them in to charge, look on the side where your control buttons are. Three red lights appear while charging. If you know you have worn down the battery and don't see the red lights, you most likely have faulty headphones. (at least this is what happened to me) If this is your situation, contact Minelab. They were quick to respond and I had my new set of headphones in a week. - Jim

My fathers turned on once got them to link only briefly then they would not turn on or charge we sent them back a week ago and they sent him a new pair.
His were brand new never used!
