Which coil/frequency are you using?

Might have been a Concentrates pile that somehow didn't get worked... If I were you I'd get a small portable wash unit & work the rest of it. How big was the pile & is there a good water source near??? If you pulled that many nuggets out with a detector & I don't see many SMALL pickers in there you should be able to REALLY clean up with a high banker or some other "WET" system....Judgeing by the pile in your hands it looks to be about ten troy ounces there & again judging blindly I'd guess there is at LEAST another 30-40 in fines in that pile...I could be wrong but kinda doubt it...HH..TT

I'm with Tom, I would get something, a highbanker whatever and work that pile down to nothing. That is amazing! I wish we had gold in West Texas but the kind we have is black and very deep haha! Take care and I hope you get more. Good luck and God Bless.

Did these come from an old bucket line dredge operation? Thats a perfect size for detecting that they were letting thru. How many hours and miles of walking did it take to get that amount? I bet you have been at it a while.

These pictures are on websites showing nuggets for sale and have been there a long time. Is it your sites??

an XT50 and 70 but sure wouldn't fabricate false info. BTW, the XT50 and 70 are excellent machines, the only complain I have is no small coils.....John

Hi. I have the 70 myself. Its a good detector especially for coin hunters in US where most coins are high conductors. In Europe where I live it still has a way to go on the small hammered and small gold compared to other popular brands, even with the 18.75 coil.

I dont see the point in such a post from a regular user. I can see some point if hes a dealer though. Minelab makes good detectors but their marketing strategy is too obvious not to notice in almost all of their detectors.

Its a good thing that they come with new detectors fairly often but You easily get the impression that they have some more or could have done it earlier if You know what I mean. the small coil problem bothers me too.

Happy detecting
