What's the best (already outdated) camera you guys are using for all the great pics I've been looking at lately....
....Now remember that I'm the unemployed village idiot...
My needs are simple like it needs to be.....
#1 Easy to figure out..
#2 Takes good zoom and extreme close-ups...
#3 Small enough to not look like a Japanese tourist(sorry if I offended anyone but, you know what I mean)....
#4 Has advanced features that I'll never use....
#5 Is small enough to be used for everyday pics....

I have a really good 35mm for the really important permanent stuff, I just need a good under $200 camera to document all the key coins and CW belt plates I'll never find but I might catch some nice fish or ????? that I want a decent pic of  Help :surrender:

expert here on camera's but when I decided to get a new one I picked up the Canon Power Shot SD7 90 IS, it's smaller then my cell phone and takes pretty nice pictures, click on them to view larger size.
It was on sale for less then $150 :)

.... through my Capital One Credit Card rewards program. Guess it cost me $19 since that's the cards annual fee. MSRP is about $249 .... however Tiger Direct has it for $209.

My current camera is a Minolta DImage which is old, big, clunky but takes really great photos but too large to conveniently carry around. I need (wanted) a small pocket camera that would be easily carried for instant action shots of Bubba doing all his stupid embarrassing things .... which also means it has to be able to take a couple hundred photos between charging.

I should receive it Friday. Will let you know How I like it after I try it out.

Here is Tiger Direct's web link to their info page on it. Even has a video explaining all the camera's features.

By the way, Tiger Direct is a good site for on-line buying. I've used them several times.
