OK GUYS NEED SOME ADVISE:confused:

THIS IS FOR THE GUYS THAT USE SEF COILS.IS THERE ANY DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE 12X10 SEF. VS. 15X10 SEF.?????IS THE 15X10 ALOT DEEPER THAN THE 12X10 FOR THE MXT PRO.?NEED SOME FEED BACK PLEASE.THANK YOU.

I really like the 10X12 and have no experience with the larger SEF coil. From what I have read on other forums is the 12X15 is much heavier and little, if any advantage in depth.

I have and use my 12 X 15 SEF coil in open fields. It is some what heavy, but I can cover a lot of ground and it goes DEEEPPPP. I'll be using it this Thurs., Fri, & Sat. at a hunt. I like it!!!!!!!!

[size=large]just my two cents here. the DD coils are like running a wiper blade thru the ground instead of a cone. what you have is a 12" wiper blade as oppose to a 15" blade. they're both 10" wide. ones just longer than the other. thus i think you get the same depth. just longer versions. jmo

I think widebody is right. I know the depth wise the 4X6 and 6X10 are measured by the smaller dimension which gives the approximate expected depth so the two SEF coils both being 10" should be pretty much equal depth wise.

Go with the smaller one. Will still give you PLENTY of depth because its really not that small. The larger will be too heavy. No matter which one you choose, if you dont pass your coil over it, you won't ever find it. Good luck. CCH.
