OK-POINTER RECOMMENDATIONS?

Sunrays are good but if you have a few detectors it gets expensive(one for each if one is available), i now use mostly the Uniprobe pocket, predecesor to the pistol probe.

i liked the [istol probe but a little bulky and man was it sensiitve,i could get like 6 inches away and still get hits!got the wife the garrett II and she loves it not bad if you can get a deal on them, but i think since having a quality machine like this and only owning 1 i am going with the X-1.

Good choice in my opinion. You get basically 2 detectors in one with all of the descrimination that your $1500.00 E-trac gets.Weight is not an issue,at least for me anyway.Killer in cellar holes where all sorts of old nail bits and iron flakes are in the hole next to your 1802 large cent.Made my pistol probe go nuts. Not sure alot of people realize this or not?I feel naked with out mine.

A vote for Garretts Pro Pointer.

Depends on if you like to wiggle your probe after sticking it into the hole.

If you have to wiggle your probe, then satisfaction depends on your ability to wiggle it.

My probe performs flawlessly without having to wiggle it. Very sensitive and good at finding just the right spot.

Well...are you a wiggler or not?

I seem to have forgot..... what was the original question? :lmfao:

:rofl::super:HE-HE, now I know how you got your name:crazy::crazy:

Just got my sunray with my E-trac a month ago.
I own the garrett pro pointer that I used on my X-70
It's a great pointer. But the sunray does have the
edge in a few areas. (1) Tone helps when your diggin
targets in trashy spots.(2) IMHO it has more depth.
(3) You wont lose it or drop it.(4) No worry's about
dead battery. With that all said the propointer does
shine for multi machines and not adding any weight
to your rig. And is alittle easier to find surface targets
(probally because i,m lazy and dont like to switch to
the pinpoint mode on the detector) (And i have had many
many hours of practice with the garrett) Three of my
friends have had to return theirs for repair. all with
the same problem Beeps for no reason when searching
for a target so they are not always confident about it.
(mine never had a problem with lots of use lots.
Sorry about the book
