Went back yesterday to an old cabin site I hadn't hit for several year's. Only coins I found before were a two cent piece, shield nickel & a few Indian's.

That may not have been a lot of finds but they sure are quality finds ....no doubt. A 2 center!! Whoa!!! Is it noisy or quiet when you are detecting? Have you tried TTF?

Ton's of iron on these cabin sites.........very quiet! ( nulling out )
I haven't tried TTF yet..........but I suppose I should! ( ( I like to stick with what's working for me! )
Thanx for the nice comments!:)

What was the reading on that 3 center please...

Beautiful. Thanks Dale. You surely found a keeper in the 3 cent Silver and the 1865.. I don't know buttons but that looks old too ..Good Job Dale

Those finds would make my year Dale! I'd love to unearth a 3 center or a 2 center! Thanks for the pictures and congratulations on some very nice finds.

3 cent "silver" came in at 12:27???? really? I would've thought the conductive reading would have been somewhere between 44-45.

Wow, Great finds!!

I wish I could find those coins and be able to say "they are all I found" (both are on my wish list).

Keep up the good finds. TTF will surprise you with what you can see among all the iron. I have been going back and hunting TTF in my tough spots and have been finding silver and coins that I couldn't see in conductive. You should at least try it. It will be very busy, but when you hear the peep of conductive it will be worth it.

Let us know if you try TTF there.

Sweet pieces Dale Looks like another old silver holed would like to know the whole story behind them no pun intended lol

Way to small & thin for 44-45 ! The field was rough disked , so had to stick the coil down in-between the big clumps of dirt. I had just told my buddy...." We have never found any silver here"!
Thank's for everyone's nice comment's!!
