Old homestead site

Hunted with my brother Tim on Sunday afternoon - we hit a couple of old homestead sites that are now a cut bean field. I found several flat buttons (including 1 tombac - which is rare in Michigan!), a pre-civil war eagle cuff button, a cut largie, an 1865 Indian and some odds and ends. My brother killed it - finding 6 large cents that day (1831 the oldest) - then 4 more the next couple of days (he also found an early Vicky Canadian large cent, a bank token and shield nickel along with a civil war store card and some buttons. Hopefully, we can get back out there before the ground freezes!

Check out my Youtube channel for the vid.

Great day Doc!
