Old Iron vs. Silver vs. Gold

I've notice a HUGE DIFFERENCE with the VLF E-Trac when detecting old, large iron. With the ETrac turn up, big iron objects scream at extreme depth--it's incredible. And also, there is a detectable halo around long buried iron objects, you can be 4-feet off-target and still be getting a signal.

Question: How much different is gold and silver coins in detectability than iron. (All the silver coins I've found were only an inch deep.)
If three (3) samples of metal: (1) 19th century iron, (2) gold coins, (3) silver coins, each sample the size of your fist,
fistpump
were buried at 1-foot increments (1, 2, 3) how would the detection differ at those depths? Iron = 1st, Silver = 2nd, Place Gold = 3rd?

How deep can you detect each of these fist sized objects, knowing iron is super easy.

Somebody might have a “fist sized” amount of silver, nobody is going to have a “fist sized” amount of gold and everybody has at least a “fist sized” amount of iron.
ALL of the silver coins you have ever found were no more than 1” deep? Wherever you’re searching and whatever site you’re on, it’s a COMPLETELY different game that what 99.9% of hunters are playing.
If you’re searching a site where you believe a cache is buried, ALL signals at depth need to be dug. Coins might be buried in a very mineralized clay pot, they might be buried by themselves or could be buried in an iron box….it’s endless.
If your “what do these things read as” question is one of the rhetorical variety, nobody is going to know. Until someone has a couple kilos of gold to bury that is….
