Can you please ID the emblem on this sterling locket. It was found in an area used between 1880 and 1920 as an outdoor recreational area used by Woodsmen of the World and other events. It was found in NE Texas. Thanks in advance, JodyReb...

It could be just what he said. It also could be a family heirloom with the family crest.
When things get this old, only God knows. One thing for sure is it is a great find and
was most likely a prized possesion of some lady.
 
The Fleur de Lis is to France what the American Eagle is to us. Sort of a national symbol. Also logo for the New Orleons Saints. And, the Girl Scouts symbol is similar. Would have to compare side-by-side.
