Old Parks upstate NY

Hello everyone. Hoping for some good weather so I can go to a few old parks in the town where my parents live near Binghampton NY. :detecting: I went labor day weekend but only found about $1.50 in clad. Not sure about finding deep coins because the coins I found were only right below the sod. The oldest was a 1966 nickel. The park is the size of 2 football feilds and is pretty much in the center of town. It used to be the site of the first school in the area during the mid 1700s:clapping: But I think the site has been hammered. I have tried setting the etrac every which way but cannot pull a deep coin from anywhere. But this weekend Im going to try another park that is smack dab in the center of town. It is only half the size but has about three times the activity. Hopefully I can pull something nice out this weekend and will post later on. HH
