Oldie but goodie?

It was good machine in the 90’s but quite heavy at 41/2 lbs. and uses 6 c cells which are pricey nowadays. Also operating frequency is in the 7-7.5 kHz range. Good coin machine nice tones but not for Canadian coins above pennys which need to have 11 kHz and above to pick up decently. I still have mine but it has been closeted for years. Old VLF concentric coil technology but I have found tons of coins and rings with mine and probably would still be using but my rotor cups gave out using it. Yes I think it is worth 100 bucks.

I still have mine . Came with the black suitcase with the 2 coils and it’s the power plus model . Definitely worth $100 .

Nice. Just got the 12" coil. Heavy thing.
Can't do the Charles coil float with that one.
Remember he said keep the coil an inch or two above the ground. That's in one of his detecting books using the CX3 while writing the book.
Especially in allmetal.
