Only had about a 1/2 hour to hunt yesterday so I went to the fairgrounds area. This place has gave up some civil war bulltes but it also has a lot of pull tabs and other trash you would expect from an area like this. I cranked up the disc to 65 because I was after deep bullets or silver with the little time I had to hunt. I was only going to dig the faint, deeper sounding targets. Got a faint signal that was jumping in the 70's to 80's range. Pinpointed it and it read 9 inches. The ground was pretty hard so it took me some time to dig down that deep. I checked the hole after I got down to 7 inches or so (my digger has a 6 inch blade) and I got a signal with my pinpointer so I knew it was still deeper. After digging another 2 inches or so out popped this bullet. I was pretty impressed because the bullet is not that big and this was with the stock coil.
