Omega hits silver...

Got out for an hour or so this afternoon, used the Omega with the 11" DD coil. Found a 1908 Barber dime, 1918 D wheat penny and a thimble. The dime was down about 5" and the penny was at 4" the thimble was only 2" deep. Omega worked like a champ.

Great finds.....And the penny looks corrosion free:) What coil were you using?

I was using the 11" DD coil. On the penny, I gave it a bath in hot peroxide and then brushed it with a toothbrush. Copper pennies usually come out of the soil around here in good shape.

Thanks,

Joe
