What coil you find the best? 10" stock coil? 5" DD? 11" DD?
10" stock here! Locks on coins awesome!
What descrim you using?
Just nocking out iron here.
Love to know what you guys like best!

I don't have the 5" but I have the 10 and 11". I'd say the 10" is simpler to use for centering your find and the 11" for covering more ground. But both as just about the same in depth.

It's about a tie for me between the 10" and the 11." I really enjoy swinging the 10" the best, so perhaps that is my favorite. Although both seem close in depth, my sixth sense tells me I get a bit more depth with the 11 DD, so for spots like big parks and fields and where maximum depth is important, the 11" is the one I use. For trashy spots that I have already been over with the other coils, the for re-hunting I go to the 5" and really like its performance as well. It gets used the least amount, though. HH jim tn

In Idaho, its pretty mineralized. Plus, I urban coin hunt. Add the EMI to the mix. That makes the 5" DD my favorite under these circumstances.
I am always amazed at that little 5" coil's depth capability & trash separation.

I use the notch Iron mask setting.Turn up sensitivity up to 99 run disc at 0.I also use the 10 inch coil which is all you need because with this settings your not masking anything. There is a video on this in you tube.I forgot It also hits very deep targets.

This is the YouTube page that Dirtfishing has. It has several high quality videos of the Omega in the field. Plus some comparison videos of AT Pro vs Etrac. Omega 5" DD vs AT Pro small coil. Also White's units. This guy makes very informative & enjoyable videos. Do yourself a favor....and check it out.
Also, he has one titled "Teknetics Omega - Using Notches To Hunt in Iron"

I have no affiliation with Dirtfishing..........I just think he makes great videos.

On my Omega, I found the stock 10" concentric works best for the sites where I use the Omega...

I just watched video 1 and 2. They were very worth while to watch.

Bart i have the Omega with all three coils and a Gamma so i use the 5inch at all times on the Gamma and most of the time i have the 10 inch elliptical coil on the Omega.I do use the 11 inch at times but i enjoy the 5 inch and the 10 inch the most...Markmac

Hello! what is the difference between (for example) discriminating up to 60 and notching up to nickel? Why do you set Disc. to 0 and notch iron, instead of set disc. to 40 ?

I'm having troubles with my Gamma in nail tests and I don't know why...

At 2:15 you can see that the response is totally different from the nail test of the omega, do you think it depends from the 8" concentric coil instead of the elliptical 10" search coil?

I got all three coils, started using the 11" first, did pretty good with it but sounded like a orchestra tuning up with all the junk in the ground
Then I started using the 10" and like it better, seems like the same depth and is a lot quieter
Have not used the 5" yet

First of all I tried with D3 (it's my favorite setting, I don't like VCO too much)... but even in D3 the metal detector is mute :(
