Omega Sensitivity Adjust Question

Does the O8 need to be re-ground balanced each time the sensitivity is changed? I know that on some detectors you Have to.

I have never had to on my Omega Ronk i believe once you had ground balanced that carries over to all metal mode as well as disc mode and should not effect adjusting the sensitivity on the Omega...Markmac

Great question!! I would say no as a guess but it wouldn't hurt!

I've had detectors before that even in the manual it said you should ground balance if you change the sensitivity setting but I don't know how accurate the "Ground Error" is on the Omega.

On the Omega, changing the sensitivity setting does not affect the ground balance.
