a comparison in EUROPE between EQ800 vs sovereign xs resulted in a maximum depth of detection substantially identical for a currency of 10 cents EUROS or 33 / 35cm but the sound of EQ is without hesitation and stable ID while on the sovereign sound no do not engage in digging.
it's in the sharpness of the sounds and the stability that EQ does wonders
