One Coin-One Keeper!

Diane and I went out today for an hour, dodging rain showers. I wanted to try out a new coil I got the Sunray X-12, I ordered this when I had trouble with my Pro Coil not knowing how long ...well I guess I should say how fast! the turnaround to get it replaced (see my post under E-Trac Classroom Forum) http://www.findmall.com/read.php?71,1455819 The X-12 is bigger so I wanted to see what kind of depth and coverage I would get. We went to an old school we hit often but they were cutting grass so we went to a nearby park. My research had previously indicated that a house should have been situated at one time in this one area. I have hunted it before, never getting many signals, there had been some nearby construction and much ground had been moved but no fill in this area. We were there less than five minutes when I got an 08-46 signal turning I got a repeat of an 09-46 signal at 8" not a booming signal but a small repeating spot. At 8" indeed out popped an on edge Large Cent, cannot get a date but you can see the full liberty. Coin is better than picture indicates. Am I impressed with this coil...you can say a resounding yes! Dug a few square nails no other coins then the sky got black and started to rain so we scrambled to the car. Diane found two quarters and a penny with her X-Terra 705 she was trying out a new (used) 3khz coil and she liked it quite well.

Very nice find for sure thanks for showing. Any hunt with a LC is a good hunt.
