The site I'm on has produced some amazing finds like my war of 1812 belt buckle a Ct Copper 1787 lots of silver quarters a few dimes a seated dime tons of wheat. A big old pile of nice sounding trash and clad. What a mix of targets. You never know what you'll get on this one. Today's is a silver scout ring. My program 8khz 11" coil 6.5 Disc
Nice, that's in very good shape. Do you have an ultrasonic jewelry cleaner? With silver being so soft I found that's the best way to clean silver and gold jewelry and coins without scratching them. The dirt/sand just goes poof in a cloud like it exploded. Not good for very thin silver like 3 cent silver AVOID and not good for any copper/bronze AVOID.
Nice find you run that same program on your Deus most of the time?
Im running basic 1 most of the time I search for coins..
I have the stock 9" coil any good tips on settings?
Im finding good stuff but just wanted to know if you found some better settings for coin hunting?
Thanks Mark
I do run my program as the start point every time. I do think that you could do better out of the Factory preset 1 Basic. Try it. Its listed on my site.
