One of my hobbies

These are all built by me and are radio controlled.
You have great skills. I built model airplanes but the were flyable but not beautiful.

Wow, now that is a labor of love! I imagine this is one of those hobbies where you have to make yourself stop when you start feeling a little impatient?
You are not kidding, when frustration starts to sit in, you have to know when to back off and go do something else for awhile. Some of these models take anywhere from 600 to 2000 hours. I've actually taken a model that I got halfway through building and got so frustrated with it that I took the ship model outside placed it on my driveway and ran over it with my truck. Now you would think that would have been enough, nope, I then put my truck in reverse and backed over it as well. Then grabbed the scraps and not so gently placed them in the garbage. My wife asked me as I came in the house, if that made me feel better and I said surprisingly yes, it did until the next morning when I noticed a flat tire on my truck. It seems that a sharp piece of wood punctured the tire. There was no plugging or patching that tire, which cost me nearly $150.00 to replace. That didn't make me feel better.

That is sort of what I figured. I have also noticed if I force myself to continue something past a certain point it is no longer fun. So knowing when to stop in any detail orientated hobby is probably essential to continuing the hobby.
