One reason to upgrade to E-trac from X-terra 705

Hi E-tracers!

Give me one reason why I should take the next step up and go for a E-trac. Is it worth spending the xtra 1000 bucks??
I really do love my X-terra,but think I might miss good stuff in the ground.See all the fine stuff they dig up in UK...many use the E-trac.
Is it really that big difference between XT705 and Etrac??

Go to the Kellyco website and do a comparison between the XT705 and the E-Trac. That will give you the technical differences between the machines. I've never used an XT705, so I cannot give you a comparison from personal use. I can say, that I've had various high end machines from 2 of the other big name companies and the E-Trac has outdone them all when it comes to finding silver and is right up there relic hunting as well.

I'm a rookie MD'er, and last month on a different machine I found 3 Mercs in a month. Then got the E-Trac, hit the same area, and in just the last 2 1/2 days I've found 8 silver coins. 3 Mercs, 5 Quarters. The E-Trac hits them deep. I average 6-10 inches on all these silver. It's really worth the money IMHO.

I have about 20 hours on the etrac. It's simply a beast. I have owned the Xterra 30,50 and 70. It's a huge upgrade. Plus don't fear the adjustments. In reality there is few compared to other brands upper machines. Believe me I know... There is a lot of settings you set and forget. I can tell you it's just pure simplicity. I just found a $5500 gold ring for a guy that hired me to find it. It hit with a solid 12 - 2. I'll have a video up soon. Here is a bit of advice - SHOP AROUND!!! Call or email the smaller sponsors for way better deals than what is considered the big guys. Indian Nations/ Chuck or Bart at Big Boy Hobbies WILL give you a better deal. Guaranteed................................................
PS: Some say the etrac won't hit gold very well. But I set the etrac up to hit 11/12/13 FE from 1 through 20 CO and I hit a ton of foil before I hit the 12/2 beep that was the 14k ring. It's all in the way you set it up.

That is a huge pile of silver goes4ever! Very impressive!

May I ask how much time you hunt with your etrac, on average, per week?

I will certainly leave a report when and if I get the E-trac. Gonna call Bart on Big Boys Hobbies later when you Americans wake up.:) Its 4pm in Sweden this very moment.
Looks like it is a very competent detector this E-trekker..
So when purchasing I will fill in the order with baby-SEF 8x6,nice headphones, maybe Grey Ghost, and spare battery. And maybe a bigger coil like SEF 12X10 or no-no NEL Tornado 12x13(I didn

Get the Sun Ray Gold headphones for your Etrac. There a match made for each other you will not regret it and the ear cups fit around your ears excellently. The sounds are great with these and the Etrac. Best match made by a great company that stands behind their products too.
