Optional power pack

Isn't there an optional battery power pack available that sort of clips on to the detector? I know it would add a little more weight, but I would be inclined to go with this. I'm not into all this recharging stuff. I don't even use the wireless headphones. Sometimes forwards is backwards. Esp as your internal battery wears out.

I'm the exact opposite in my thinking. I love the wireless headphones. And I hated buying batteries. There are plenty of power packs available to charge your detector. But then you have to eventually charge them.

I keep a quick charger with me (looks like a large AA battery with USB port) incase I need to charge my headphones or my Nox for some reason. I have never been in that situation before however as both last way longer than the 8 to 10 hours that I use my Nox when prospecting. I plug in my headphones and Nox to my car charger as soon as I'm done and am ready for the next hunt. The rechargeable battery system was one of the reasons I bought both the 800 and 600. Much of the rest of the world has figured out that throw away batteries aren't very good for the environment or the home budget.
