orderd my ctx from big boy hobbies got a great deal expected to be here thursday i use to have a etrac i hope this is alot better im not saying anything bad about the etrac i just hope i see the extra moneys woth in the ctx

yeah i hope so i have seen alot of good things about it but i have also seen where alot of people was having problems with them one dealer told me (not big boy hobbies) that about 3 out of 10 have to be sent back because something is wrong with them i just hope he is wrong and i get a good one i think everything will be ok

Wow, that sounds like an awfully high number. It is well known that they did have some problem childs, mine being one of them. Hopefully yours will be 100%. I love the machine, it helped me find a lot of nice treasure since I first got it shortly after it came out.

I don't want to derail this thread, but have you discussed the issues you had with your CTX3030 anywhere on the forums? I'd be very interested to know what behavior you were seeing and read about how it got resolved.
