This groundcover is commonly known as ICEPLANTS...very popular out here(CA) they are on the side of the freeways a lot and they are used to control soil erosion and of course they are used in home landscaping. Ive seen this type of plant in orange, red, yellow colors......of course there maybe other colors im not aware of
Im not sure how far east they are seen but here is what we have currently

How far east do you see these? interested to know

Detector Man, I love this ground cover. I don't remember it growing in our area and I wonder if it would? :clapping: Kelley (Texas) :)

our temps dip into the low 20s during winter nights.....and we have no snow...so i m thinking they are hardy plants
to be sure, see if your bigger nurseries sell iceplants..

very common out west.....various colors ...what i like is that the flowers stay open a couple weeks or so
