Park hunt turns up Mercs........

Hawkeye Jim

New member
The last two days after work I got in a couple of hunts at an old park that's been hunted hard................Thursday I found (13) coins total, with one a 1919 Mercury Dime and (6) wheaties: 23, 34, 39, 44, 46 and a no-dater............Today I went back and found (10) coins, two Mercury Dimes 1927 and 1938, (4) wheaties: 15-D, 16, 18, and 20, plus one Canadian cent: 45.

Hardly finding any clad in this park thanks to my fellow detectorists that don't have an ETRAC! Thanks :minelab::super:

All the older coins were really deep and the Etrac sniffed em out...........HH.....Hawkeye Jim.

Congratulations on the silver and wheats Jim! Thanks for the pictures.

Two very nice hunts Jim.

Don't you just love a park where there is little to no clad because it has been hammered....yet if you are willing to work at it...some keepers pop to the surface.

That's my kind of park.

Good job of sniffin' with the E-Trac:thumbup:

Congrats on the finds!
Gotta love the e-trac!
