Park hunts and old homes with modern trash

Any of you F75LTD users hunt these areas with your LTD???? I still have an ETrac but I have to admit, the light weight of the LTD is gonna spoil me. I already know its my relic machine for old home spots and fields.
If you do, would you share some of your settings please.
Only used mine for one hunt and think Im really gonna like it. For the life of me, I cant figure out why you guys have kept it a secret.
Thanks,
John

Old sites with all ages of trash are the spots I hunt most of the time. Your question on settings was just recently asked just a little further down. My most used settings are disc. under 5, de mode, sen 85, unless emi issues, and 3h and 4h tones. The real key, though, is the 5" dd coil. I just inch my way along with it and listen carefully for those mid to higher tones. Dug a 57d Rosie with it this morning at a pro pin pointer measured 7 1/2-8," so the small coil gets good depth, as well as being a laser in trash. HH jim tn

with junk I up the Disc to as high as it takes to eliminate the crap.. Sure I miss a few targets, but not many... If disc goes up so does the tones to 4H .

I have lowered the sens to as little as 40 and dug coins 6 7 inches with ease if EMI present....

Oh.................... We just didn't want you to know about the F75 Series .................

The settings are site, soil, and coil specific.
There are no constants.
GO OUT and USE your detector.
That is the only way you are going to understand it, let alone find anything.

I can give you a map, but it doesn't mean you are going to find your way there.

When relic hunting try Motion All Metal - 2T- and do a manual ground balance. You will get more stable ID's less noise and extreme depth and higher sensitivity seems to work fine. Bp mode works for me in this old TN. red clay. Just a little food for thought. If you don't like it hit the red button and go to the other side. Great machine. If EMI becomes a problem grab that E-Trac. That works for me also. HH :minelab:

The E-trac and the f-75 are a great combo. They basically have each others back. Where one is lacking the other shines. Love the noise cancel on the E.
Hersh, was ' 2T ' a type-o. M.A.M. on a 75 doesn't have 2 tones. I have the old 75, so maybe I'm wrong.

The F75ltd I have, has two tones. Tho, I havent used it yet but as soon as I hit those fields and old home places, I will. I used 4 tones (my first trip out) this past Sunday because of the type of site I was hunting (1800s antebellum home, updated, modern with the modern trash in the ground).
Thanks for your help,
John

It has two tones in all metal mode???

Steve O, my bad,I am sorry. I didnt catch the all metal part. I cant answer that. That would be nice.
Im the new kid here and already messed in my pants, sorry.
I can say this. I used the F75ltd one time, all day Sunday. Just knew enough about it, to get going. It has a home!!! I took my ETrac along, just in case but I never took it out of its case. I really enjoyed the way this machine worked and the weight, well what weight. Wanna stress the ENJOYED part again. But, Im not thru with the ETrac. My biggest frustration with it has been all the falsing in my iron laden sites.
Yeah, I still have some things to learn on this detector, but I think its gonna put the fun back into it for me.
Elton made me do it,
John
